Baby plants weeks 4-5

Discoloration on the leaves and stems like this are normal at this stage of growth.

Second feeding Repeat of the first feeding 7 days later.

Transplanting into 5 Gallon pots after letting them dry for a day or 2. So few days after 2nd feeding. Make sure they are healthy before transplant. Clean dirt off plants after to prevent bug infestations.  Water slowly as the dirt may be dry and will not absorb the water fast enough. You dont want to drowned your plant.

Found a lady bug for good luck.. No but these are good bugs to have around leave them be.

So If your seeing Damaged leaves like this then don't be alarmed its simply wind/dry heat damage. Simple monitor your humidity. If its lower then 40% then bring it up to at least 40% 60-65% is ideal. if its 85 degrees or more then try and lower that to 70-84 is fine. If you cant raise the humidity. Simply spray them with a water bottle a couple times a day. A good misting with do the trick. If you temps and humidity are fine. Then your lights are probably too hot and too close. Simple raise the lights so they are not so close. Over feeding will look different then this however it will burn the tips which can be confusing.

Alright now that all our plants are transplanted and happy we will be counting nodes. 5 nodes up from the bottom 2 single tip leaf nodes. once we can count at least 5 nodes "7" bottom 2 nodes are baby leafs left over they will die. I will be topping them by which i mean cutting that 6th node right off. This is because i will be cloning this plant so i need a lot of heads quickly. This will cause the plant to grow multiple tops instead of just one. Also it will cause the lower branches to grow slightly faster. After which I will be cutting the bottom 2 or 3 nodes off to prevent bug infestations a little later. These nodes usually die and do not produce any fruit. They often cause bug infestations because they are close to the soil and when they start to die they produce a scent bugs like. Keeping your plants fed and healthy will prevent most common bug problems.
